About the college.

Established in 2008 GDC Khansahib is located in Sub- District Khansahib at a distance of about 35 kms from Srinagar.

With an enrollment of 597 students the college is operating from its campus sprawling over 7.8 Acre’s of land and is situated on the picturesque Carewa of “Katrash”.

The college has been shifted to its own campus in 2017. From 2008-2017, the college used to operate from the Bal-ashram building of Social Welfare Department. The college started its academic journey with B.A. degree program with 69 students enrolled and four subjects in its first year of establishment. During the previous three years, the college has seen multiple constructive changes that include the introduction of 17 subjects and degree program in B.Sc Medical as well as Non-Medical. The college has eight classrooms and all the classrooms are having projectors and smart boards installed. Two classrooms have been equipped with digital podiums also. The college has a 25KVA Generator.
